CLTCH+ Warranty · Endurance

Our promise, in writing.

A coating we're prepared to stand behind for the life of the car, and a warranty written the way we'd want to read one — short, plain, and kept. It runs on four habits.

01
Certified application
Only CLTCH-certified hands, every batch recorded against your VIN.
02
A recorded baseline
Gloss and water behaviour measured panel by panel on day one — so "performing as it should" is a number, never an argument.
03
Documented care
The wash rules live in your aftercare book; every visit and wash is logged, so cover never rests on memory.
04
Annual renewal
One hour a year — washed, measured, topped up, signed. That hour is what keeps Lifetime honest.
The terms

The tier changes the years. Nothing else.

Same coating, same certified application, same standard in every tier — we don't do a cheaper job for a shorter warranty. The tier sets how long we stand behind the work, and what it asks of you in return.

Endurance
5 years

Paint and glass five years, interior two. Renewed by one inspection a year; a missed year re-sets cover to two years from your last completed inspection.

TRAVELS WITH THE CAR
Endurance +
Lifetime

Paint for as long as you own the car. Glass five years, interior two, wheels and trim three. One inspection a year keeps it alive; a missed year re-sets cover to five years from your last completed inspection.

“Lifetime” means: while the car stays registered to you in Australia, is cared for as your aftercare book describes, and sees us once a year. Sell it, and the remaining cover transfers with the service record — the new owner just emails us within thirty days.

Tier pricing is set by your certified installer and confirmed in writing before any work begins. The annual inspection fee is fixed at A$150 including GST — printed here so it's never a surprise, and never the reason cover lapses.

What “covered” actually covers

Paint
Covered Loss of gloss, oxidation and UV fade, etching from bird droppings, bug splatter and tree sap, salt-air staining.
✗ Not coveredStone chips, scratches, swirls and marring, accident damage, anything owed by the vehicle maker’s warranty.
Glass
Covered Loss of water-repellent behaviour, staining from environmental contaminants on coated glass.
✗ Not coveredChips and cracks, wiper-blade wear, scrapers and abrasive cleaners, replacement glass (re-treatment quoted separately).
Interior
Covered Permanent staining on coated fabric, leather and vinyl, UV fade on treated surfaces.
✗ Not coveredRips, tears, scuffs and wear, dye transfer from clothing, third-party products, Alcantara.
Wheels & trim
Covered Baked-on brake-dust staining on coated faces, UV chalking on coated exterior trim.
✗ Not coveredKerb rash and impact, refurbished or repainted wheels, track and off-road abrasion.

Outside the promise: brush car washes and abrasive products; rework by anyone who isn't a certified CLTCH installer; care lapses beyond your tier's re-set rule; and damage no coating can prevent — accidents, alterations, misuse, fire, flood and hail. A coating is chemistry, not armour. Keep to the aftercare book, and the promise holds. None of this limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Keeping it alive

One hour a year keeps it alive.

00
Book
Email us in the 30 days before your anniversary; we confirm a slot with your installer.
01
Wash & decontaminate
A proper reset — pH-neutral wash, iron and tar removal, bonded grime lifted.
02
Measure
Gloss and water behaviour checked panel by panel against your certificate baseline.
03
Top up
Anything reading below standard is re-treated on the spot, under warranty.
04
Sign & log
Logged against your VIN and signed into the certificate in your aftercare book.
When cover starts
Cover runs from the date of application — provided your certificate is registered with us within 14 days. Registration is one photo and one email; your installer will usually send it before you’ve left the bay.
Salt-air postcodes
Salt air is the hardest thing Australia throws at a finish. If your certificate records a salt-air postcode, the fortnightly wash becomes weekly. A dated photo or one-line email is your wash log.
The booking window
Opens 30 days before each anniversary. Miss it and cover doesn’t vanish — it steps down to your tier’s re-set term, counted from your last completed visit. The next inspection starts the clock again.
No installer near you?
If there’s no certified installer within reasonable reach of where the car now lives, email us before your window closes. We’ll nominate an alternative or extend your window — distance never costs you cover.
Selling the car
The cover belongs to the car, not just to you. The new owner emails us within 30 days of transfer and keeps the yearly cadence — the remaining term carries over intact.
After a repair
Panels repaired or repainted after an accident sit outside this warranty until re-treated by a certified installer — quoted to you or your insurer. Tell your insurer the car carries CLTCH protection.
If something's wrong

It's one email. A person reads it.

No forms, no phone queues. Write to info@cltch.com.au and the process below starts the same day.

One
Email us as soon as you notice the issue — ideally within 30 days — with the warranty number from your registration email, your rego, and three or four photos of the area in daylight.
Two
We reply within two business days with an assessment booking at a certified installer. Please don’t polish, compound or “fix” anything meanwhile — rework by a non-certified hand falls outside this express warranty on that panel.
Three
Approved — we make it right. The area is cleaned, corrected and re-treated at no cost to you, and the work is logged to your record like any inspection.
THE LIMIT
A$2,000

For an approved claim under this express warranty, Clutch Ventures' liability is limited, at its option, to arranging the necessary repairs and reapplication, or paying the owner up to A$2,000 (or the cost of the coating application, whichever is less). This limit applies to this express warranty only — it does not limit, exclude or modify any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Who gives this warranty

This express warranty is given by Clutch Ventures Pty Ltd trading as CLTCH, Brisbane QLD · info@cltch.com.au — directly to the registered owner, whether your coating was arranged through the dealership that supplied your vehicle or with us. These terms (v2.0 · July 2026) apply to certificates issued under them and are governed by the laws of Queensland.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

This warranty is in addition to — and does not limit, exclude or replace — your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have it rectified in a reasonable time; and if this is not done, to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.
